Clinical Hypnotherapy Wales is pleased to introduce the training opportunities that exist through our collaboration with the prestigious Brief & Strategic Therapy & Clinical Hypnosis (BST) Foundation (www.bstfoundation.co.uk). The BST Foundation’s hypnosis and clinical hypnotherapy courses held in London, Cardiff and Belfast, provide the correct professional and ethical training that is essential for a possible new career as a strategic clinical hypnotherapist or to develop existing skills.

The BST Foundation’s UK hypnotherapy course and hypnosis training courses have developed over twenty years of research, vast practical experience and the successful training of many in the therapeutic use of clinical hypnosis & brief therapy. The Foundation has subsequently gained the reputation for being at the forefront of ethical training in clinical hypnosis & brief therapy in the UK, offering the highest teaching standards and modern approaches to both the application of hypnosis and clinical hypnotherapy training courses.

The BST Foundation’s UK hypnosis course & hypnotherapy courses provide the opportunity to study clinical hypnosis & hypnotherapy, traditional hypnosis, indirect hypnosis, Ericksonian hypnotherapy & brief therapy in a professional training environment.

The current London training course venue for courses in clinical hypnosis, hypnotherapy & brief therapy is the London School of Hygiene and Medicine in central London. The Foundation’s Wales hypnosis courses are held at The Wellbeing Centre, Cardiff. While the Belfast hypnosis courses are held at Queen's University of Belfast.

Individuals may be eligible for additional external funding to undertake training with the BST Foundation.
Eligible students may also gain career development loans with deferred payment through the Department for Education and skills, career development loan scheme (CDL) with whom the BST Foundation is a registered training provider. Please visit www.lifelonglearning.dfes.gov.uk/cdl for further information. In addition many students go onto utilise their hypnotherapeutic skills to finance further studies with the Foundation.

Health care professionals who attended the brief therapy or clinical hypnosis programme frequently gain direct funding from their employer (National Health Service Trust) to undertake continued professional development training with the BST Foundation.
